In studying the naturally thin for almost two decades, I’ve learned to appreciate their deep connection to their bodies, which is it's important to understand that one of the best ways to slim down is to establish a deep connection and appreciation with your body.  
There’s a natural tendency when you want to slim down to eliminate all of your favorite foods, yet this creates an imbalance in your mind and increases the power of those food items – often leading to bingeing or overeating patterns (you and I have probably both been there). 

Instead, if you’re craving food and you’re not hungry, get in touch with why you feel the need to eat.

 

My gold members often tell me that they don’t know how to feel their feelings. As women we often focus on everyone else. Feeling your feelings is like a muscle….with practice you begin to connect to your emotions, understand your true wants, and address your needs.

Isn’t this better then saying NO to food? Isn’t better then counting calories? Isn’t it better then dieting? Heck ya!


That’s what my Gold members get to experience, and why most lose between 20 – 60 pounds without ever dieting or restricting.  

COACHING QUESTION: Try to discern what’s behind the food you desire and recognize that no emotion and no urge will last forever.


COACHING TIP: Set a timer for 15 minutes and find something else to do when you know you’re not hungry but you want food.

When you disengage your auto-pilot eating, you will find that food is not really what you want – you deserve more, way more!
