What Did You Think of Geneen Roth on Oprah?

I had high expectations for the show yesterday. Geneen, with all her wisdom, I just knew it was going to be a good show.

…and the show was good, I enjoyed it, but the show could have been amazing! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled that we’re finally having these types of conversations about what the extra weight people carry is really about. It’s about time we see this on tv! The more we engage in these types of conversations, the slimmer and happier everyone will be!
But I was hoping for more juicy bits of inspiration from Geneen which I think were stirring around in her mouth, ready to be shared, but Oprah was so excited by her own insights, that Oprah’s insights became the show.

I don’t blame Oprah, she was excited to share her “Ah ha” moments with the world. Yet, in doing so, we really heard more from Oprah and less from Geneen. Yes, the show captured some great success stories and pain-ridden women, but those too, further cut into the special insights that I believe the world really needs to hear from people like myself and Geneen.

Oh well, maybe Geneen will share more when she does her QandA session on Oprah in a month.

Where was the information showing how to get into your body – she could have guided someone, a mini-meditation perhaps, or sample mirror work?

What did you think?
