Twelve years ago, my mother was in a car accident that left her bedridden. At the tender age of 12, I was put "in charge" of taking care of my six-year-old sister. I suddenly found myself without time for running around and being as active as I once was. I also turned to food as a way to comfort my resentment over having to take on so many "adult" responsibilities in my pre-teen years.

I slowly put on weight - ballooning from a size 4 to a size 12, and then becoming a size 14 by the end of high school.

I tried everything imaginable to lose weight. I started with fads and magazine diets, then tried the famous program with the weekly weigh-ins. Nothing was working. I became a vegetarian, tried hundreds of pills, diets, and other products, all with no success. When I got to college, I started studying food, nutrition, and the psychology of weight.

I got sick of it!

One day I had an epiphany and thought, if I wanted to get rich, I wouldn’t study poor people. I wanted to get thin, so I’m going to learn the secrets of the naturally thin.

A light bulb went on.

It was then that I began studying naturally thin people - what they ate, when they ate, how they thought about food, eating and their bodies.

What I learned amazed me.

I found out exactly why diets don't work, and I realized that if I could simply think and act like these naturally thin people, I would get the same results they had.

It worked like a charm, and here I am 12 years later, maintaining a healthy weight at a size 6/8.

I admit, at a 6/8, I'm no supermodel, but I feel great about the way I look. Now that I know the secrets of naturally thin people, I know I'll never be a size 14 again.
