Oprah is FINALLY Talking My Language!

I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to hear Oprah finally speaking my language. Over the years, I’ve heard from thousands of you that I should be on Oprah. Why? Not because I’m so fabulous but because the message of ThinWithin.com is powerful, is life giving and it's a weight loss method that works.

I’m thrilled this information has come to her through the channel of Geneen Roth and is now being accessed by millions. Okay, I’d be more thrilled if I were the one sitting next to Oprah, but that’s okay. Geneen and my message of self-love, power, and connecting inward to live thin and abundant lives, is what the journey toward thinness is all about.

It’s been my journey and I’m certain that if you eat for reasons other than hunger, it’s your journey too.

So yesterday Oprah had Geneen Roth on to discuss her book, Women Food and God and to answer audience questions. Here’s what I thought:

Many of you emailed me that Oprah answered the questions instead of Geneen and that Oprah talked entirely too much. I agree, it would have been nice to have had more Geneen then Oprah time, yet Oprah really understands this process. I can’t speak to whether or not she’s using this information she speaks of, but she gets it. Geneen clearly lives, eats and has become a transformed naturally thin person. Every response is spot on and she understand the compulsive mind, as I do – takes one to know one J

The issue of mothers and daughters is profound and I’m glad this was discussed. Please mothers, if you’re struggling with weight, get to the source of your weight gain. Don’t leave a legacy of fat for your children. It takes an honest look at yourself. Don’t have a timeline, just let the process unfold. It may take 30 days or it may take 30 years. Start, because leaving a legacy of pain, frustration, body-hate is not what our young people need.

Please, please, please understand why this is a spiritual journey. I think many of you are a little confused why living ThinWithin is a spiritual journey. So please get this: when you eat for reasons other then hunger, you are probably struggling with your weight. WHEN you begin to examine what’s really going on whether it’s looking at (1) when you want to eat but you’re no longer hungry OR (2) you overeat, this is where the spiritual journey takes place. At these two points you can begin figuring out what you really desire and what you really need – that’s the spiritual journey. That’s the opening, the doorway, the journey. That’s the truth and when you’re in a place of truth, magic happens.

I agree with what Oprah and Geneen said: when you’re hungry, food is satisfying. When you’re really not hungry, you can never fill up. In this space you need something else to fill yourself up. What is that something?

Oprah said that this work is like developing a muscle. YES. This is so true. This isn't a quick fix and poof, you're thin. I've seen hundreds of people lose weight and lose weight quickly, but please understand, like any spiritual journey, this can take time. I’ve been developing my thin muscle for over 14 years. Sometimes my muscle is really, really strong and other times it needs some training. Stay in training and you too will continue to develop your thin muscle.

Geneen’s Eating Guidelines. Geneen and I have very similar naturally thin eating guidelines.
