How You Eat a Cookie Makes All the Difference
How do you eat your cookies?
I’m sitting here and it’s 4:00 in the afternoon. I have my sweet baby girl at my side and I want a cookie.
Now, having a baby brings out the sweetest in everyone. When I say sweetest, I’m not kidding. I’ve got cookies, cakes, thin mints, you name it has been sent over to us these past few weeks. If I didn’t know how to eat and think thin, this could be seriously dangerous, but I know how to eat a cookie. I admit, sometimes I may eat a few too many, but mostly I know how.

Here’s how…
When approaching a cookie, honor it. You can honor your cookie by sitting down with your cookie on a plate. If you like coffee, tea or milk with your cookie, then fill a glass up. Make sitting down and eating one cookie a wonderful mindful experience. Eat it one bite at a time and pay attention to the tastes and textures in your mouth. Slow down. Don’t go into mindless mode…it’s more fattening then anything else you can do.
Eat your cookie with elegance, with pride, and throw in some love for yourself and appreciation for the love that went in to making them.
