Here are the best Halloween sweet treat tips for you and your family…..

1.  All it takes to curb chocolate cravings is a few bites, so when you're in need of a chocolate fix, opt for Hershey's Dark Chocolate Kisses.  They are low in calories and will give you an antioxidant boost to boot!

 

2. I love Dum Dum lollipops.  One of these fat-free lollipops has just 20 calories and I love that they will give you a sweet treat and that they take awhile to finish. Just keep on licking and enjoy!

 

3. Jolly Ranchers this Halloween are a great option. They'll only set you back 50 calories and they take forever to finish.

Tonight when you get home from trick-or-treating with your kiddos, have them pick out their favorite candy and donate or toss the rest. By encouraging your kids to find the candy they like most, they get to choose their favorites while paring down the candy stash by a third.

 

2. Parents, make sure your kids don't hear lots of NO's around candy. You don't want to create a bigger issue later on. YES, you can have some. YES, choose one at night. YES, enjoy it.  YES, share with your friends, YES, let's donate. You don't want to make a big issue out of candy and make it BAD. When you do, you'll just be giving more energy and power to candy then necessary.
