It's true, I gained 2.5 pounds overnight, and here's why this matters to you…. 


Yesterday we had some of our best friends over for brunch and I had a bagel in the morning. We had some leftover bagels and so I had another one for lunch. 
  

If weight loss was just about calories, I would have been just fine because I didn't eat a lot of calories in whole for the entire day, but slimming down is more then calories, but about listening to your body and connecting inward.  


One of the best gifts my Gold clients receive is learning to turn within and pay attention and listen to what's going on in THEIR body so they can lose 20 – 60 pounds over six months. 


When you start listening to your body (not a diet program, not your partner, not your favorite super model's eating habits) you begin having fun determining what foods slim you down and make you feel fabulous!

Now that I've confirmed that bagels don't work for my system, I don't need to beat myself up or tell myself that my workouts aren't working or that I'm a loser for gaining weight, I simply and powerfully get to choose options that work better for myself and my body.  No force, no pushing and lots of loving.
