My Gold clients often ask me:

“Marna, I know I need to stop dieting and trying deprivation diets… but how do I start when I also really want to lose weight?”

At ThinWithin we never really focus on food, we focus on your relationship to food.

See, becoming thin has less to do with food and more to do with your inner dialogue, how you see yourself, how you feel, and facing what you are actually feeling so you can face your emotions versus eat through them.

A question I ask my clients is:
“Are you hungry for food or something else?”

Most weight loss programs are all about rules and restrictions and supposed “will-power.”  I don't know about you, but if you tell me not to eat something, get out of my way because I'm going to eat it, just because I can! That's how stubborn I am!

If you're like me, you know that it's impossible to stay on a diet forever, and portion control and calorie counting often doesn't work.

I'd like to help you understand the difference between emotional hunger and physical hunger.
