Conquer Three Words And Achieve Your Ideal Body

Three words were preventing me from reaching my ideal weight. These same words may be the difference between staying where you are and breaking through to achieve your ideal body. The words I resisted were: Eat Without Distractions. Yes, before I became a Thinwithin coach, I was first a client. Like me, do you find yourself coming up with excuses as to why you can’t take 10 minutes to sit down and eat without distractions? Do you think that if you are not watching TV or reading a book while eating, you are missing out on something?

Our brains are amazing. Present a problem and it will come up with a solution. Have you come up with any tricks to allow yourself to eat while doing other things? I tried that and it only delayed my success. So, if you think you can get around this step, the answer is No Way. Sometimes the only solution is to face the issue head on. The reason we resist eating without distractions is an internal one. You are in a battle between where you are now and where you want to be.

ACTIVITY: Stay in the moment and focus on what you eat, you are only thinking about the food and your body. Focus on the taste, texture, smell, and on how the food is affecting you. Is it filling your soul as well as your stomach? Eating without distractions is part of reconnecting to your body and honoring your spirit with gratitude. Know that you are worth it and that you deserve to honor yourself in every way you can.
