Do You Make Excuses For NOT Moving Your Body

This past weekend I got back up skiing for the first time in almost 10 years. My kids have been little and it's just not been something I've focused on for awhile.

I would tell myself getting up to the mountains was hard, I would be cold, it's not fun, I'm uncomfortable…blah, blah, blah

Do you have excuses you are using for NOT moving your body?

But then my motivation changed – I want my kids to experience new activities and try out skiing since by golly, we live in Colorado.

I put my excuses to rest, bought equipment that made me feel comfortable and faced all my reasons for not going – and signed up for a month of skiing for the family.

The reason I'm sharing this with you is that it's so easy to stay in our comfort zone, and use our excuses and worries to keep us from experiencing the fun joyful things in life.
The truth is, extending out of our comfort zone feels amazing once you've done it. It's AMAZING!!!
My question to you, is what are you doing on a weekly basis to extend out of your comfort zone?
Sometimes you have to get a new reason – a new purpose to get you excited, motived and into action. Maybe it's your grandkids, your children, or maybe it's to date and feel sexy and attractive. Whatever the reason – a new motivator is needed if you're just not feeling ready to stretch.

The truth is, the area you want to give up in, is the exact area that you need to push forward a little harder –


So you can prove how fricken awesome you are! So you can look in the mirror and say ‘Hey, I pushed myself and that feels amazing!' You will then find, it's a little easier to push your career to another
level, earn more income, go out on a date, plan that next beach vacation…

I encourage you to stretch out of your comfort zone and see what's available for you on the other side?!

I'm excited to see in a few months how skiing feels at the end of the month and I'm proud to face my fears and give my kids a new experience that they absolutely are loving!
