I asked Audrey, a previous client of mine who lost over 80 pounds, to share with you the #1 tip for how she lost all that weight and she said this….. 


“You have to care about yourself more then you have. That’s it.” 


How many times a day or week do you go between caring and not caring? I see this at the gym all the time; Mondays are the busiest days, then Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and by Friday it’s quiet. 



Or do you fid that in the morning you’re gung-ho, you’ve got a plan, feeling strong and by 9pm all you want is to sit in front of the TV and eat Ben and Jerry’s? 

 

Here are a few things you can this week to care more….

  1. Stop being average. Instead of going for average food, go for fewer items but better quality foods – shift chocolate cravings from eating average chocolate to having the best dark chocolate you can find. 

  2. You are not a trash can – don’t treat your body like it. How many times do you eat everyone else’s leftovers –you know, your kid’s scraps or those last few bites of muffin laying around? You are not a garbage can, so don’t treat your body like it. 

  3. Are you dressing cute and pretty? Are you wearing clothes that you feel good and that make your body look great, or are you wearing just what’s comfy? You know – you can find cute and comfy! 


  4. No more 20 year old undies – Are your undies outdated? Are there holes in your socks? Do your PJ’s have stains? Care more about yourself and get some new cute undies, throw those old socks away and wear PJ's that don't say 1980's. 

  5. Don’t be cheap. Are you being cheap when it comes to yourself? Sign up for a gym you enjoy, get some support, receive coaching. Stop being cheap and telling yourself and others that you can’t affort to invest in your health. You can’t afford NOT to.

 

Up-level your health this week by caring for yourself more. Take one step each day to show that you matter because you do! You matter a lot to me!
